I started using coloured pencils back in 1993 and
quickly realised that they are ideal for people
who don't have a lot of spare time. You can pick
a picture up for a few minutes during you lunch
break and there is no messing around with brushes,
water, turps, etc. It's also a medium that is very
forgiving, as you can usually rub things out if
you don't like them. I have mainly done still life
and nature pictures so far, but I keep on experimenting
and trying to keep an open mind. There are always
new things to learn and different styles to investigate,
with a wealth of high quality work to inspire us. |
