Alison Campling
I am 37, married, living in Leicestershire with my husband and 5 children.
As my baby days are reaching an end, my time for art is becoming slightly easier to find (ok, I'm still finding it!). I've taken a real liking to graphite and have enjoyed learning about realism this year.
I got into coloured pencil work last October, and have found it to be something I really enjoy.

Brian Casey
Brian
was born July 1958 in London, England. He is entirely
self taught, working mainly with graphite / coloured
pencil, and watercolours.
His
love of motorsport started when he was a young boy
attending grand-prix meetings at Crystal Palace and
Brands Hatch.
No other artist is more passionate about their subject,
and this is reflected in the professional way
his illustrations are planned, prepared and finished,
capturing a sense of action, speed and excitement,
along with a fantastic eye for detail.

Karie-Ann Cooper
My name is Karie-Ann Cooper and I produce pet portraits and wildlife art in glorious colour pencil or graphite.
I love the medium of pencils as they allow me to pick out fine details which could be lost with other much looser mediums. Colour pencils especially suit my style and enable me to ensure my portraits are realistic and highly accurate. I have always loved art and to be a pet portrait and wildlife artist combines it with my even greater love of animals, the perfect pairing.

Lesley Crawford
After being a watercolour and graphite pencil artist
for many years, I discovered coloured pencils in
1997 and took to them immediately. At the time I
was producing mainly natural history artwork. Although
I still prefer the translucency of watercolour for
flowers. I use them exclusively for animal work,
and clients for my pet commissions are amazed at
the detail that can be achieved in portraying their
beloved animals.
I was delighted to meet up with other coloured pencils
artists on the Web, and find that I was not alone.
It was a great pleasure to be a Founder Member of
the UKCPS, and watch the increase in numbers of
people who also love this medium. For three years
I was Editor of the quarterly journal “Talking
Point”.
